Summer School

Get an overview of the bio-production from plant, animal, forestry and water for applications in food, bio-energy and industrial products. Learn the various steps in the agro-food chain “From Soil to Table – From Stable to Table” through an integrated and interdisciplinary approach.  Learn from the best and share knowledge with an international group of participants. Join our international intensive two-week programme (15 to 28 May 2016), a combination of lectures, site visits (to research and industrial facilities), feedback sessions and a cultural programme!

Target audience: Students (BSc, MSc) from life sciences, engineering, environmental sciences, chemistry and economy are invited to apply on condition of English proficiency.

Organized by the international training centre of the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering at Ghent University, the home of ground-breaking developments in the fields of agricultural production, biotechnology, environmental sciences, engineering, chemistry, bio-energy, food sciences and bio-economy.
