The paper “Carbon Stock Estimation in a Mediterranean Riparian Forest” has been published on the Special Issue Spatial and Temporal patterns of Riparian Forests and Ecosystem Services of the MDPI journal Forests (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/forests/special_issues/Riparian_Forests). The study was part of the RIPCARBON project and Activity 4 of the RIVEAL project – “Carbon sequestration – The Value of the Green Landscapes”. Team members and collaborators of these projects combined fieldwork and remote sensing/UAV data to estimate the total biomass aboveground and soil carbon stocks in a Mediterranean riparian forest of Portugal (Alcolobres river, Tagus river basin).
