The World Academic Expo 2016

The 1st World Academic Expo (WAVE), an international academic conference for university and college students, to be held on November 03-06, 2016 in Thessaloniki, Greece. WAVE, hosted by the educational non-profit organisation Afixis, is under the auspices of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Macedonia and the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

Our conference (wave.afixis.org) is open to all students of every level(undergraduate, postgraduate/PhD), who will be given the chance to present their research and at the same time gain essential skills through participation in a great variety of workshops that will be offered, thus preparing themselves for future academic and professional careers.

At the same time, WAVE features an Exposition of student-run teams and organisations from Greece and abroad, which will present their activities and communicate their work to all participants and visitors.

The Call for Papers will last till June 5th and all interested students only have to submit their CV and a 300-word abstract. Once selected, they will have two (2) months to submit a 4-page summary of their paper, that they will be invited to present at the conference, upon peer review.

Please pass this announcement on to your students in order to inform them on the possible ways to participate in WAVE 2016.
