"Terroir And Vineyard Management" and "Burgundy Winemaking Specificities"
The University of Burgundy’s Jules Guyot Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences organizes a two short programmes "TERROIR AND VINEYARD MANAGEMENT" and "BURGUNDY WINEMAKING SPECIFICITIES", designed for international professionals (academics, journalists, cellar masters, restaurateurs…) and completely taught in English.
The aim of these two programs is to understand the diversity, the enhancement of Terroirs, the viticulture in Burgundy and the different winemaking strategies used for Pinot noir and Chardonnay.
These programmes are managed by Doctor Benjamin Bois, President of the Viticultural commission in the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) and Professor Hervé Alexandre, Responsible of National Diploma in Oenology.
Terroir and Vineyard Management (3-day programme) is complementary to Burgundy Winemaking Specificities (2-day programme). Both sessions, take place in February 2019, from 4th to 8th, at the Jules Guyot Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin) in Dijon, France.
