Dissemination tool
To assess the awareness of environmental nitrogen losses from the respective countries of each staff partners (UK, Denmark, Portugal) and for each WAGES topic, a powerful dissemination tool, Mentimeter, was created and tested, providing online surveys and immediate reporting from the participants. Our Nitrogen champion was Mark Sutton.

Art & Environment
Exhibition inspired by NitroPortugal, to increase the awareness on Nitrogen issue using Art. During the event multiple pieces of art were produced and sold. The money was given to ReFood, an association that redistribute excessive food, contributing to reduce our society nitrogen footprint.

The NecoSchool, on the topic the Global and Long-term Effects of Nitrogen on Ecosystems was held from 15 to 16 May 2017.
We joined 17 sutudents from from 7 countries (Portugal, Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Sweden, China and Luxembourg) during a 9 days course with teachers from 7 countries. During the course we had lectures, field and lab work and Group work, visited two LTER stations, Companhia das Lezírias and Herdade da Coitadinha.
