Andreu Cera é atualmente bolseiro de Pós Doc na Université Caen-Normandie em França.

A sua investigação tem como objetivo entender as estratégias ecológicas das plantas e dos líquens e como as utilizam para reagir ao clima, às caraterísticas do solo, aos impactos dos herbívoros ou incêndios, utilizando este conhecimento para melhorar as práticas de conservação da biodiversidade, regeneração e produção de forragem.
