The aim of this research area is to provide added value information to different end users on various aspects of fire, ranging from landscape level interventions for fire prevention to education on fire ecology and management. CEABN has been involved in several research projects in this area that can be divided in four main research lines: (1) fire effects on wildlife and landscape, (2) fire as a management tool, (3) wildfire prevention and vigilance and (4) post-fire ecology and management and restoration of burned areas.
