CEABN participates in a study on turtle doves (S. turtur) as part of a European project to define a model of adaptive harvest management for this species. In this study we are reviewing the management actions implemented in hunting areas  that favor turtle dove habitats and resources aiming at improving its population status.

To this end, we launched last summer a survey directed for game managers  and got some answers across the country. But it is necessary to increase the representativeness of Portugal in this European sample and so we have launched again the survey giving opportunity to those who have not yet collaborated, to do so until the end of April.
