I have a bachelor in Biology from the School of Agronomy and a master’s degree in Computational Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. In my master thesis, I assessed mortality causes and rates of the Little Bustard (Tetrax tetrax) in the Iberian Peninsula. After my graduation, I worked as a statistical consultant and as a researcher in ISCTE Business School on a project on public engagement at research institutes.
I’m currently doing my PhD, which focuses on forecasting the impacts of climate and landuse changes on Mediterranean farmland birds. My species of interest are the Lesser Kestrel (Falco naumanni), the European Roller (Coracias garrulus), the White-Stork (Ciconia ciconia), and the Little Bustard (Tetrax tetrax).
I am also interested in management and processing of biological data, programming, and geographic information systems.
